Onsite Crating at Your Facility
Some machinery and equipment is too large, sensitive, valuable, or difficult to move before it is properly protected. Our onsite crating service brings the materials, tools, and expertise to your facility so the product can be measured, secured, and crated where it stands.
Every project begins with the equipment and its handling requirements. Our team considers the dimensions, weight, center of gravity, lifting points, access limitations, transportation method, destination, and shipping requirements before determining the crate construction.
Built and Secured Where It Stands
Onsite construction can include custom skids, enclosed crates, open-slat crates, blocking, bracing, foam protection, reinforced framing, removable panels, access points, and heat-treated solid-wood components when required. The solution is built around the product and the way it will be lifted, loaded, transported, and unloaded.
Onsite crating is ideal for industrial machinery, production equipment, aerospace components, electrical systems, medical equipment, and other items that cannot safely or practically be transported to Royal Wood Products before packaging.
